Musical Dining Continued:

The Sidecar in Ventura is set in an early 20th-century train car, so live jazz is a natural match for this place.  Every Tuesday night you can hear jazz musicians play while chef Tim Kilcoyne riffs on the grilled cheese sandwich.  The regular menu isn’t available for dinner, just fantastic versions of this comforting sammy.  The music plays from 6-9:30 p.m.

On Friday and Saturday nights, the Bobby Watley Trio plays from 6-9 p.m.

And now on Sundays you can hear a different jazz band every week while you work your way through eggs Benedict and Belgian waffles.  The bands play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
