Sushi Ko Closing
Posted in: Restaurant & Food News | July 21st, 2009
Sushi Ko Japanese Restaurant in The Lakes mall in Thousand Oaks is closing in early August. They’ve been in The Lakes for four years after a successful 25-year run in Bel-Air. In a last-ditch effort to keep the restaurant open, Sushi Ko’s owners Akiro Hatae and his wife Lisa Hatae agreed to appear on Gordom Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. The episode will air on Fox sometime in September even though the restaurant will be gone by then. The Hataes are looking for a different Conejo Valley location to do business in sometime in the future. In the meantime, they would like to thank all their guests over the last four years who have supported them by saying, “eat healthy, be happy, peace.”
