Crumbs Bake Shop Opens in Calabasas
The Commons at Calabasas has a new resident: Crumbs Bake Shop. Crumbs bakes up cakes, pastries, and cookies but most folks come here for the cupcakes–at least 14 different flavors are made every day. The signature size ($3.75 each) are hefty numbers topped with a mound of frosting. The red velvet cupcake has rich cream-cheese frosting on top. The devil dog flavor gets a fluffy vanilla cream hat over its dark-chocolate cake. Other flavors include banana split, brownie, and blueberry cobbler. Indulge yourself inside the store’s cream and rust-colored walls with a cup of coffee or take your treats to go in plastic clamshell packaging. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
